MAFS UK is finally back on our screens and it’s already shaping up to be a drama-filled series, but when was it actually filmed?
As always, the entire series has been pre-filmed from the weddings right through to the final vows, and the cast have to be very careful what they say on social media they don’t ruin the storylines.
If you’re confused, here’s a complete timeline explaining exactly when the 2025 series was filmed, step by step.
So, this is when MAFS UK 2025 was actually filmed
Filming for MAFS UK 2025 started eight months ago, in February 2025. The whole experiment takes around three months to film, so filming would have ended in April 2025.
In terms of the timeline, that means the weddings would have been in filmed in the first couple of weeks, around the start of February. This was then followed by the honeymoons in the middle of February.
The couples probably moved into the apartments around the end of February, where they stayed getting to know their partners for eight to nine weeks.
Living in the apartments is very strict with long days of filming. They’re not even allowed to leave the apartment without asking and having a chaperone go with them! Former bride Amy Christophers told The Tab filming for the dinner parties can start as early as 8.30am and go on until 3am.
This would put the final vows at the end of April 2025, then giving the producers and editors almost five months to actually put together the TV show.
All the cast members will have had to sign NDAs which means they weren’t allowed to speak about the show for the past five months, and while the show is airing.
There are strict rules in place, including not being allowed to wear their rings, go out with other cast members in public or follow each other on social media. Cast members can even be fined £10k for leaking stories to the press!
